EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

Symbolic Self was a members’ exhibition focusing on the self-portrait. Prior to the exhibition, members participated in two workshop experiences with Stephen Clark and Therese Flynn-Clark.

Stephen Clark (arts consultant/advisor) guided participants through a creative planning process to identify ideas and images about past, present, and future. Therese Flynn-Clark (artist) assisted participants in the art of telling their stories and creating mixed media and 3D works. ACT acknowledge the support of the Qld Government to stage the exhibition.
