Arts Council Toowoomba Social Evening with Maryika Welter
Maryika Welter’s talk for ACT members was held at the Toowoomba Repertory Theatre on February 20th.
Thank you Marika for taking us on a photographic visit to Florence, to the prestigious Florence Biennale Art show. You showed us the carvings, the busts, sculptures, paintings – even frescoes in your own hotel bedroom. We really felt that we were visiting there with you.
And what a range of new acquaintances and ideas you brought us.
It was a splendid evening and I was pleased to see so many members in attendance.
Thank you also to Mark Phythian, president of Repertory for the tour around the Repertory Theatre.
It was a great evening all round and good to catch up with friends.
